So, here it is: the second half of the year.

July 3

For a time, I have found it bizarre for me to once enjoy writing about things like business coaching, leadership development & corporate training – but now feel completely disgusted by it.

Such an irony. Just like Sisyphus.

Though I can see why: these things, at their core, are all about human psychology – which is exactly what I care for. It’s just that they have been capitalized so much – and that I have outgrown the self years ago. And that I do care (Sorge) enough to find it matter.

At the end of the day, Kafka worked at an insurance institute. Wallace Stevens was an insurance executive. T.S. Eliot was a banker. So, I suppose I’m in good company.

A moment of peace amidst the chaos, I guess. Before it is resumed this afternoon.

Which means “time is money”. Should not waste time wandering around too much.

Though it’s still worthwhile to maintain the habit of journaling… somehow.

Such a busy week it has been…

Such a limit situation…

Well, let’s just have the courage to be!

July 15

It’s half of the month already.

Back in the day, I had the habit of catching up with a few close friends whenever I felt troubled, unable to figure things out, or just because I felt the need to be heard.

Now, it seems I’m doing it less and less often. Not necessarily because I don’t trust people; mostly because I figure that I already know the answers. That when I choose to hang out with a specific person, I have already subconsciously decided which path to tread; I just need some kind of mental reinforcement. A little courage; a little push to make things roll.

Still…

Being alone feels like a “blessing” and a “curse” at the same time. Especially at such a time. Especially when one is in a limit situation. When everything is suddenly, violently disrupted – and it’s still way off before one can reach the end of the tunnel.

It’s only the beginning of the day, and yet I’m already feeling tired.

This burden of freedom… I suppose even for me, bearing it is not comfortable. Let alone the typical individual.

Normally, we follow the scripts – work, family, routines, etc. – so that we don’t have to face the void, the nothingness of being.

But here I am – having to figure out things on my own…

I guess that’s the reason why most people prefer living in bad faith, while running away from the truth.

Every time I’ve got to do this migration task, it’s really exhausting. And I really hate it. Not necessarily because it’s difficult, but because it’s repetitive and requires absolute perfection.

And especially when it comes to my own asset.

Anw, my best bet is to gradually check things off the list. One by one. One step by one step.
